Passion from the pharmacy world<\/h2>\n

After a career of over 20 years in the biopharmaceutical industry<\/strong>, Axes Health was founded in 2019 by Katrien Van Geyt<\/a>. With her background as a pharmacist, she has always been passionate about the development of innovative medicines and their accessibility to patients. The Axes Health team consists of a total of four individuals who share this passion with her. <\/p>\n

Successtory<\/h2>\n

To provide an example of what Axes Health does: they recently played a key role in making a medication available<\/strong> to Belgian patients that enables them to undergo a kidney transplant. Without this new medication, these patients would reject the donor kidney and remain on dialysis for life. <\/p>\n

With the support of a cross-functional team<\/strong>, Axes Health successfully convinced the authorities that reimbursing this innovative treatment is not only a game changer<\/strong> for patients<\/strong> but also saves<\/strong> money for the healthcare system<\/strong> by preventing lifelong dialysis.<\/p>\n
